LEFT BACK SIGNED!!!
Tony Mowbray made a whats almost certain to be an integral move in his establishment of his very own managerial regime at Celtic by signing Coventry left back Danny Fox for 1.5 million pounds.
Celtic have been needing a left back for some time now as their present left back Lee Naylor looks less and less fitting to the bill. With Naylor in his last year of contract, he should be looking to impress and not lose out on his starting place. Cetic Manager Mowbray commented "We lack a little bit of competition on the left. We're playing Shaun (Maloney) at the moment and Danny brings versatility,"
"Lee has no competition. I thought the team needs balance and he brings that. He's got a wand of a left foot."
Mowbray added: "It was a bit of a rush for him. It was important to get over the initial thing about playing with your team-mates for the first time."
Fox, 23, was signed just in time for registration of the squad for their European squad against Dynamo Moscow. Fox's signing was believed to be four hours before deadline The u-21 England cap spent no time getting settled as he made his Celtic debut in the 5-0 thrashing of Egyptian side Al Ahly, which saw him wear the number 11 jersey for the last 15 minutes of the game.
This is Mowbray's third Summer signing after the signing of Nancy players Marco-Antoine Fortune and Landry N'Guemo
