Would get raped at the back big time. Forwards would struggle, but should be able to find the net. The middle would be over run and due to the terrible back line, it would be chaos!
Drop Murphy AND/IF this Danny Shittu comes in, then you can play a flat 442 with that line up. Although would worry a lot with Mulgrew on the pitch in any position.

That would be my guess at a steady starting 11 from Lenny. Maloney taking place of either front two/wide guys, samaras having a similar function. Ki and Juarez rotating in the middle.

Only reason I was askin is, as a unit, they don't make our team any better, excluding Juarez, so far.

Some of the new guys won't get as much game time as they think.
Mulgrew for one, will be a bench warmer, as will Murphy on the most part. Cha got a stroke of luck with Hinkel being injured.
Forster and Zaluska will be doggin it out, who gets the most game time I dunno.
Kayal, Ki, Juarez, Crosas, Ledley, Brown can all play the middle. Think its safe to say Crosas won't see much game time, so between the other to fight for two places...with Brown possibly being the most regular. Ledley and Juarez have one up on the others as they can play a number of positions across the middle, or at full back.
Strike wise, who the fuck knows. Stokes and Hooper look the most prolific so would imagine they start most games, but somewhere you need to give Murphy(not much) and samaras(only a bit more) game time. Maloney and Forrest will float from outwide and up front, but that will depend on how successfull the middle are.


Daniel Majstorovic is the only one in that squad who could bank on a starting position every game.

Pretty much sums up my feelings about our current squad.

Hopefully Majstorovic, Juarez, Kayal, Hooper and Stokes turn out good.

My mate was just sayin "Surely there's a blue chip signing in January" but I'm not so confident.
