Fuck sake. It just gets worse and worse and worse, doesn't it.
Celtic's Marc-Antoine Fortune will be out for up to two months after injuring his medial ligament against Arsenal.
The striker played on after getting injured at the Emirates in the second leg of the Champions League qualifier and is now set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Said Mowbray: "He has damaged a medial knee ligament and it'll be about six weeks to eight weeks for him.
advertisement"We were aware of a bang to the knee during the game against Arsenal but it wasn't bad enough to come off and it is when the game has finished and the adrenalin runs away that players start to notice how much of a problem it is."
Meanwhile, Mowbray has denied that he is set to sign French midfielder Guillaune Beuzelin.
The midfielder has been training with Celtic this summer and impressed in Wednesday night's friendly 1-0 win over Cork City.
However, there are no moves afoot to make the former Easter Road player part of the permanent set-up at Celtic.
"We are facilitating Guillaune to train with us," said Mowbray. "He hasn't trained with my group , he's been working with Neil Lennon's group so I haven't seen enough of him."
Mowbray has been named SPL Manager of the Month for August.
that's a big loss. all we need is killen to get his usual long-term injury and sammy or Skippy to pick up a knock and we're fucked .

8 weeks out and how many until he's match fit?
Probably won't see him until Xmas, big blow for us.
Pretty short up front, everyone now needs to stay healthy. I think most of us wanted to see another striker signed this summer, maybe we might still do.
Anyone know of any decent free's?
Perhaps part of the reason behind the ZZ signing, is he can play as a forward but he's not exactly been prolific throughout his career.
I think we were thin up front for goals before this injury, not good news at all losing another goal threat.

I blame Lawwell for getting us into this mess, obviously hasn't learned his lesson from last season, where we were left short on striking options.
To think that some Celtic 'fans' herald this cunt as some sort of messiah makes me feel sick tbh. No doubt these happy clapping cunts will still be happy with their messiah.

Yes your correct it was lawell that came on the pitch and injured fortune for 3 months.
Peter lawell is a brilliant business man and the sooner that you all realise we dont have the spending power as the english the better. He has put us in a healthy financial position and lives within our means and income and makes a profit. Its not his fault players get injured after the transfer window closes. Would you rather he said aww fuucckkkk that. Here tony theres 20million go out get us a striker to win a league were going to win anyway because were strong enough and leave us in the same mess as the huns for years to come.
C'mon man get a grip ffs![]()
Crucial at Ibrox? WTF how did you work that one out?
He hasn't done enough to be that big a blow. Would of liked him to stay fit but I am not going to wave the white flag because he is out.
Obviously not but it is Lawwell's fault that we find ourselves short of striking options due to the failure to sign another striker.
I realise that we can't match the wages and transfer fee's of the EPL. However surely there was/is money there to spend on another striker. Good strikers for our level don't need to cost £20 million you know, that's just absolutely ludicrous. Skippy only cost us 700k.
And by the way, Lawwell is a chronic liar!

He has missed multiple sitters, looked scared to shoot and got in the way of fellow team mates.
I wanted to see how he done after finally getting his first goal but it looks like we won't for a wee while.
But from what he has done so far he is nowhere near a large loss to the team.
Camara wouldn't be too bad. We need someone to cover for Fortune and there's no way that prick Viduka should wear the Hoops again.
We Are All Georgios Samaras
No sure he,ll be missed that much anyway .Obviously in numerical terms 1 striker down is a bad thing but thats about it tbh
