Martin Kane (Kano) needs a couple of hours of your time?

Saturday 17 October can see us take a great step forward – but only with your help.



We now have permission from Glasgow City Council to hold a bucket collection in the streets around Celtic Park before the Motherwell game, and we need volunteers to help. We are looking for 100 collectors to assist us with this very worthy cause.



Meeting around 1pm, you will be given a lovely emerald green bucket and a Kano t-shirt and allocated to a collecting point close to the ground. Just after 3pm we will pick up the buckets and take them away to be counted at a secret, secure location.



For those season ticket holders, you will probably miss the start of the game – but then we don’t seem to start too well these days anyway! And those of us with the task of counting the money will miss the entire game.



Folks, this one event should bring in at least £5,000. So please make the effort and help us to help Kano.

In order to comply with legal requirements collectors must be over 16. Youngsters can of course come along and help out, but can’t actually be in possession of a bucket.

And all volunteers will receive a free ticket to our very special final night on Saturday 14 November (over 18s only as it will be a licensed event). All will be revealed very soon – but it will be a night you will definitely not want to miss!



We are getting ever closer to our target of getting Kano back with his family before Christmas. We are in the final part of the campaign. Volunteer to help us and this memory will live with you forever

Have you e-mailed that address? Desperately needing bucket collectors. Also, if anyone has to go anywhere near Lennoxtown on there way to the game, and are driving, could you pick me up so I can be there early enough to do it? Would pay petrol money of course

Mate I wont be able to help out as I won't be in Glasgow for that match.

Unless there is a fund collection online that I can donate to, similar to the Kevin McDaid Appeal, I will gladly donate via Pay Pal or something.
