    No.

Boruc has been our most consistent since the last few months of last season. Last season he started off shockingly but by the end was great. Remember we lost that league because we couldn't score. He done well at the other end.

This season he has been good also, maybe not his brilliant best but certainly at times showing his true class.

Zaluska may be a great cover, but I don't see him as any more. At the moment.

And the best thing about Boruc is he looks like he gives a fucking damm about Celtic Football Club. He gives Caldwell and whoever fucks up an awful bashing when they make a mistake and that shows passion, and we don't have enough.

NEVER altho i agree with what your saying but NEVER lol If we sell Boruc and Zaluska gets injured then were just as weak in nets as we currently are in defence and up front. Did Boruc not mention he would like to finish his carrer at Celtic?

Another page set up by a group calling themselves the "Killowen Young Republicans" promises to "protect the Republican communities from the PSNI, hoods and most of all loyalists." The group's photo album contains numerous images of youths in balaclavas posing with a range of republican flags as well as a handguns and automatic weapons.

That said, I would prefer Artur stayed. He has been vital for us in his time here. He is the only top drawer player we have and given how much he had done for us in previous season I was happy to bear with him through his difficult spell last year. I don't want us to sell the one player we have who is world class in his position.

For me the problem is the board. It is beyond me why we are unable, when we have apparently never been financially stronger, to sell a few duds and add £8m to what we rake in. If we could spend £10m well it would surely guarantee us the league. Then we get in to the CL and recoup that money. I know there is some element of risk but surely in any business the old adage is true about speculating to accumulate.

The lack of ambition to upon up a gap on the huns when they are on their knees is pretty strange imo. They must know that it wouldn't take much to make us superior to them in every dept and ensure the league.
This. I can see the point SW is making and agree to it's logic, but I'm not really sold.
There is also a huge point on the speculate-to-accumulate thing, though I wouldn't suggest outlaying 10m net. Then we'd have nothing to spend in the Summer or next Winter and could be back in this situation a year or two from now.
I think there's some middle ground here. Sell a Brown or McGeady (we have so much cover at this position I don't see it making a huge difference) or Skippy + a handful of small-wage players (Caldwell, Mizuno, Flood, Wilson, Naylor, Crosas?, Sheridan?, Hutch?, etc.) ... that could generate at least 6m easy and free up plenty of wages, then outlay another 5m and we've got 10m+ to spend on a new CB and some strikers and their wages.

Boruc is a no go from my point of view. The ONLY world class player that we have and in his 1st few seasons won us 3 in a row. Should be the captain of the club never mind selling him

I agree with this part very much. Boruc is a true celt, who loves playing for the club and as you said CE- actually gives a damn.

We don't often get many world class players in the Celtic ranks (even more increasingly so now) so why should we sell one of the best Celtic keepers to ever grace our club?

I honestly don't see the difference between Zaluska and the Boruc of the last couple of seasons. Zaluska might even shade it.

Is Zaluska going to be happy on the bench every week when he doesn't make any real mistakes when he is brought in? I can't help but think that if we can get 5m and get him off the wagebill TM will choose to take the money rather than keep Artur.

We won't be able to sell Brown while he is injured and i don't think TM will want to sell Aiden so selling Artur is the easiest way to raise money.

You would not miss the Holy Goalie ? The best keeper we have had in years and a man who actually has some passion for this club.

    Absolute madness.

He was quality but those days are gone. Passion is irrelevant if your playing shit.. have been punted a while ago. He's a likable guy with character but that doesn't stop the ball going under his legs etc.

Thought he was having a great pre season and continued the good form into Sept-Oct.

I thought he could have done better with both goals in the Old F**m game.

I’m willing to give him another full season here.

He's never been good at crosses anyway so it's not like this is a new thing...

He has become a laughing stock ? How come ?

It is not like he has been making errors week in week out, he has actually been pretty steady this season and was steady in the last few months of last season as well.

Ok the laughing stock comment might have been a bit harsh, I edited it to "ball going under his legs etc". He makes embarassing mistakes like we got a taster of today.

If he is a laughing stock then Buffon will retire after the way he played vs Bayern, talk about blowing things out of proportion.

Ok..he just let in 3 goals in less than 20 mins (not that it was entirely his fault though..but still) then he picks up the ball outside the box (luckily the ref didnt pick up on it).

"Holy" or not its bench time for big Art.

    embarrassment...

Is he on Crack or something?

I missed the game tonight, was he shaky in goals ?

Not really imo. Loovens and McManus were clearly to blame. In the 2nd one he may have read the assist better although he had to cover his near post. Loovens sold that one on two accounts

He wasn't at fault for any of the goals.

And MBP, the replays clearly show he took the ball inside the box, his foot was out but the ball was in.
