Seems to want to be a playmaker rather than a striker, spends most of his time out wide. Wins little in the air. Scared to make a mistake, can't make desicion and has very little confidence imo. No killer instinct that a goalscorer needs.

His style suits the "deep lying forward" role some clubs are trying to play with. We were well aware of this when we signed him.

His decision to not pass to a wide open McDonald or McGeady cost us the match today. I can't believe he tried to shoot from that ridiculous angle.

He was signed by Mowbray in order to link with our midfield and bring out the best from our wingers, so far in the majority of games he's played It's worked and we've managed to get goals from out wide.

Aberdeen: McGeady x2
St Johnston: Maloney x2
Kilmarnock: McGinn

I believe a 4million forward player was signed to score goals. A bit strange if Mowbray wants McGeady to score more goals but not Fortune.

One of his assists against Aberdeen was because he took to long on the ball and then it was a massive deflection off the cross.

He also shat himself twice when faced at goal in the Killie game

And was invisible yesterday.

Have you never watched Fortune play before he signed for Celtic? He can and does score goals, but his main style of play is to set them up. He must have forgot that at the weekend though cuz we could have got another goal out of it if he passed.

If we ever sign a good striker we'd see a lot more from fortune. pass it to samaras it'll either hit a plane flying above or itll go wide.

Yup watched every game he has played in. He was signed to set up goals AND score. He wasn't signed to do a Kenny Miller.
