Anything at football matches should be allowed. Football was built on hate and passion. Its 90 minutes where you can slag off rival fans, or sing anything you want about your own team. You have to hope that human decency prevails at some points and that its just for the 90 minutes.
So they should all be allowed.
try sitting in the jock stein upper, singing any fucking songs is an improvement. personally i'd love a bit of sean south or BOTOB, going to get a season ticket in 111 next year
I heard when the Shame won the league on our patch that CP was rocking afterwards, "Go On Home!" being belted out, now if that were to happen I doubt their would be any sound at all.
If thats true.

Heard The Lonesome Boatman a lot last night. Sounds good.
We Are All Georgios Samaras
That prick Bill Leckie is up to his usual shite, I wont bore you with his whole column
I wish these fucking hacks would do their homework on BOTOB then maybe they wouldn't spout such pish. The atmosphere as their Europa League slog ended in inevitable failure was so flat that even when they were playing well, the only singing was from a little knot away up high in the Lisbon Lions Stand.
And it does them no credit that they seemed more interested in boasts about joining the IRA than in supporting their team.
"Celtic is important to me in as much as it's one of the only constants in my life over the years. I have changed and become various things but it is the one constant. Religion, friendships have come and gone, likes and dislikes have come and gone, but Celtic has remained." - Billy Connolly
The problem with that is that for a lot of people, the hatred doesn't last for just 90 minutes.
Also, a lot of fans have no interest in Irish republicanism and some may feel intimidated by the singing of these songs. We're a club open to all and these types of songs may alienate certain fans. There's a time and a place to sing them and it isn't Celtic Park on a match day in my opinion.
Also I don't think that more rebel songs being sung = automatic better atmosphere.
Another page set up by a group calling themselves the "Killowen Young Republicans" promises to "protect the Republican communities from the PSNI, hoods and most of all loyalists." The group's photo album contains numerous images of youths in balaclavas posing with a range of republican flags as well as a handguns and automatic weapons.
