I agree that his attitude is pretty bad, he's a stroppy wee bollocks and a pain in the ear for anyone around him especially Samaras.
But his work ethic? I think is great, even when he hasn't scored for 70 minutes he'll still be chasing the ball down and making life as hard for defenders as possible. Nothing wrong with his work ethic imo.
Mowbray has also chose to start him a lot of the time though. Presumably Mowbray wanted players who offered more to their games besides goals and started with that. He then decided the goals weren't coming on this occasion (miraculously so it seemed) and stuck Skippy on to do his job.
If he is sold though, it's still not Mowbrays fault, the buck stops with the board and if an offer comes in that they like, they will sell.
I honestly think that he'll go even after reading his agents statement today. I also believe that Mowbray doesn't fancy him as a player.
The frustrating thing for me is that he actually looks match fit now which he clearly wasn't during the first month or two of the season. It's the same every year.
Anyway, bar Samaras, nobody scores on a regular basis and to be quite frank, you wouldn't trust him in the bigger games like Sunday's and the open goal at Tynecastle. He has something to offer but when the midfield are also struggling to deliver it's imperative to me that we keep McDonald as well as signing another poacher.
He's only scored 10 goals this season, out of 18 game's, that not prolific in any league, you acting as if he's the only one who can score goals, he's only scored 3 more than sammy. I'm sure we could find someone for £3 million even who could score more than 10 goals in 19 games.
Also he does fuck all for the team, i'm sure we could find someone else who could do a bit more for the team and score goals.
I don't think I've ever disliked a Celtic player as much in my life.
I think we should keep him until atleas the summer but dont know what will happen. No point selling him we wont spend enough money to sign someone better anyway will only be like for like.

10 in 18 is not too bad at all.
He is the only one who we know can score on a regular basis and he is our best bet for a goal. Samaras has scored a few this season as well and has been in good form but Skippy will still get more goals than him.
As I have said before he is a limited player but to win games you need to score and he does that. I would like to see us sign Giroud and if he shows us that he can settle and do the business for us then Skippy may well go in the summer but we need to keep him for the remainder of the season.

I think it looks like he'll be going, despite what his agent says in the paper today.
Unless we have a very good striker coming in I think it's a bad idea.
