“If he wants to learn about scoring goals, he should nip over to watch us train at Lennoxtown some afternoon and I'll show him a thing or two about finishing”
Last night, when contacted by Record Sport, the player said: "Yes, there was a conversation between myself and the manager but I am not prepared to go into details.
"I believe these things should remain private. Maybe you should ask him what was said. I have nothing more to add."
Hardly sounds like a player who is whining to the press to me.![]()
I keep reading on here, and a few other forum's "fuck the board " and "it's time something is done" ect, what is it your actually gonna do?
Do you think people would actually do a walk out?

More than likely from somebody inside Parkhead. Just the same way as everybody knew last night who the new signing they were going to reveal this morning was. It's nigh impossible to keep things quiet in Glasgow.
EDIT: Or yes it could have been his agent, that's quite possible.
First we must rid ourselves of these pathetic fans groups… rid ourselves of the wretched GB and have one united Celtic fans association. In stead of idiotic, futile splinter groups such as the Rude Bhoys.
Then we must organise, a collective mass demonstration against this board. Perhaps a walk out, or a rally outside Parkhead.
We did this successfully in the 90’s we must do it again.
I'd travel over from Derry to get involved.

Edit- For the Board or the management to leak this would make no sense at all. At this stage to speculate that this came from the club, has no foundation.
This could be a media fantasy, or IMO more likely a player who is surplus to requirements and struggling to find a club.

tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if this was leaked to the press by McDonald. There are already quite prevalent suspicions that he is the dressing room mole.
He’s best of buds with Keith Jackson and conveniently most of these dressing room dispute stories that come out of Parkhead are covered exclusively by him.

I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the phrase
Keith Jackson
I don't believe any of this to be honest
Well if it was McDonald then IMO he should also have no future at the club.
Brown confirmed a conversation took place. So this story must have some truth to it. Perhaps it's had the normal negative sensationlist treatment from Mr Jackson you may be right.

I cannot believe the timing of this.
If we wanted rid, it should have been done by now. What is the point in selling him at this stage of the window? Is it so the board can say they couldn't find a replacment in such a short time and then they could pocket the money?
Each passing day I am getting more and more disillusioned with Celtic. We are turning into a fucking laughing stock.
Without question, we are going to go into February weaker than we were at the start of this month. Get Lawell to fuck away from Celtic, I really dont believe TM would have wanted to do this. Lawell is ripping the heart out of our club.
McDonald leaked the McGeady V Strachan story and the Boruc V McGeady story.
It was also around the time McDonald was dropped by Mowbray that we started to hear the initial rumours of dressing room discontent.
I’m almost certain he is the mole.
Troublemakers like this are not welcome at Parkhead, yet we are in a very difficult position with McDonald as our strike force is about as potent as an 80 year old dick.
Selling him in Jan would probably decrease our chances of winning the title.
