I’m pleased but am I the only one who thinks the club could and should have given a bit more?

    100k maybe?

It’s a much more worthwhile cause than paying some of the clowns we have on our register…

Been open open-mouthed reading about this all week,so it,s great to see my beloved club dip into their pockets.Remember lots of small amounts make 1 massive 1.
For everything people have said about Simon cowel and lets face it he wont make any money for himself but this will get him a knighthood with the single for Haiti for def,as long as it raises many millions who give,s a shit what silly title they give him?/lol

I think they should do more in general for charity.

    I agree.

Though even when the club gets involved, the sum they donate is usually quite small.

I think 10K for a club the size of Celtic is quite appalling tbh

It also feels a wee bit hollow to me... picking and choosing which charities merit donation.. in a way.. I think its because this particular one has been given massive coverage in the news, im sure im not the only one who thinks this.

I agree they should of given more a lot more. As should all the big clubs, but the greed and obscene amounts of money in football are pretty distasteful when you put it into perspective. Our club is no different from other money making machines now unfortunately. Our charitable roots are well and truly a thing of the past.

But im quick to criticise them and its rare they actually do something worthwhile. So ill congratulate them in this case...
