Me personally? No I wouldn't. I am happy to sit and see how things shape up once we get all the new signings into the team. As you rightly say, it will take a few matches at least for these players to bed in together and settle into a pattern of play. If we start to improve between now and the end of the season I'm more than happy for Tony Mowbray to continue into next season. If things carry on the same I'll start to become a bit worried but would probably still give him the chance to start next season and get it right. If things haven't improved come November-December time then that is when I'll review my position and perhaps concede that this is a project that isn't going to work out.

    I am almost with you.

By the summer I think we will have a good idea of the qualities of Rasmussen, Hooiveld, Ki and a few others. If as I suspect they look the part then Mogga must stay on to continue building his vision.

However if they look no better or god forbid worse than what went before them, then their can be no other option than to look for a new manager.

    ..........New CB........Hooiveld
    ...........Ki/Crosas...............N'Guemo
    ..........Fortune........McDonald/Rasmussen

That would be my spine. If the two new signing measure up then good, if not Skippy and Crosas to replace them

    Crosas>N'Guemo imo

we floundered even more badly than this i the period post donati pre crosas

If a partnership works - eg Crosas and N'Guemo then we should stick to it.

No matter if Brown is better than Landry or Ki better than Crosas, the overall balance of the team is what is important.

Is N'Guemo back on saturday? Him and Crosas dominated the midfield vs R*ngers, who have the best MF in the SPL bar DUTD under levein. I'd like to see us go 5 in midfield and 1 up top for a while, just with a very attacking formation.

I've been saying it all season but I'd play 3 front men with a hard working midfield.

If we signed Lee Wallace, I'd go.....

    ................................Boruc

    Caddis............???????.......?????.......Wallac e

    ...........................N'Guemo/Crosas

    ................Brown.....................Ki

    .............................Samaras

    ...........Fortune'............McDonald/Keane

Seriously, if we were to sell McGeady then we could buy in a good goal getter like Keane if he didn't want to come here or whatever.

In this line-up we would have two full-backs putting a good shift in up and down the pitch, tackling, capable hard working midfielders, good balance in terms of height hopefully in defence and up top but most importantly more goals.

At the moment actually replacing those question marks with nobody would suffice tbh.

although i'd fancy a front line like

    Fortune/Maloney/McGinn - - - -- - - - -- --- - - -Samaras/McGeady/McCourt

    --- - --- --- -- - - - Skippy/Ras/Stokes/Cavenaghi

Yeah, that's the Barca look. You're maybe right. I was basing it more on the MON look at Celtic but we'd maybe miss the 3 defenders and wing backs.

i cant believe some people on here are prepared to give mowbray time. if we carry on like this the league will be over by march. "oh give him time, we'll see how things are in the summer". fuck that, the huns are garbage are they're coasting, what does that say about us. 2nd place isnt good enough at parkhead.
