The guy is really coming onto his game the now. His running into space is top class and is very clinical when it comes to his finishing. At the start it looked to be a waste of money but I think he is starting to really pay back that price tag and prove he is worth it. Long may it continue!
Aye couldn't agree more mate. A month ago i was saying he was an imposter and that he was kidding himself on that he was a footballer but he's really made me eat my words with his performances over the last couple of weeks - he's been outstanding to be fair and long may it continue!
I think a lot of fans are thinking that way too if you look at the standing ovation he got when he came off last night.
Cheers Cash67
tbf, I always thought he was good. If he could add 30+ goals a season to his game he wouldn't be with us, that's for sure.
He's been on fire recently and long may it continue
"Celtic is important to me in as much as it's one of the only constants in my life over the years. I have changed and become various things but it is the one constant. Religion, friendships have come and gone, likes and dislikes have come and gone, but Celtic has remained." - Billy Connolly
He’s looking good just now but I wouldn’t get too excited. He’s been playing well for a number of weeks, not months. Only then will I be convinced.
In fairness he did have an injury for a while, it looks like he may now have settled. But I’d still be cautious about lavishing him with praise.
“If he wants to learn about scoring goals, he should nip over to watch us train at Lennoxtown some afternoon and I'll show him a thing or two about finishing”
playing well at the moment, and more improtantly for a striker, scoring goals. Hope it sontinues for the forseeable future but we shall see
It's not the creed or nationality that counts, it's the man himself
Celtic - more than just a club

People didnt like him because the media said he was pish.
good big player not clinical though type of player guarentee 15 + goals though
should for the money he was brought in for
One mans Terrorist is another mans Freedom Fighter!
He will guaranatee 15 goals a season. He is already on 10, so another 5 is hardly going to be much of a push. I think he'll get 20 this season.
And what are you talking about, saying he should be clinical for the money he was brought in for? He was bought for £3.5 million, in today's market that sum most definitely will not buy you a clinical goalscorer.
I think you are one of the lads Liam67 mentions earlier in this thread. Everything you are saying reads like a tabloid rag.
im willing to put my hands up and say i was wrong about Fortune im glad he proved me wrong tho because of his price tag, I love being proven wrong when it comes to doubting celtic players or staff![]()
Another page set up by a group calling themselves the "Killowen Young Republicans" promises to "protect the Republican communities from the PSNI, hoods and most of all loyalists." The group's photo album contains numerous images of youths in balaclavas posing with a range of republican flags as well as a handguns and automatic weapons.
Yeah I was totally against Fortune at the beginning, didn't think he was going to be anything for us but respect to him because he has come onto his game. Done a good job so hopefully he'll just keep improving.
Delighted with his recent form, not just the fact that he is scoring a fair few goals, but also with his all round play. He brings so much to the side, I think him and Rasmussen will form an excellent strikeforce in time to come
We Are All Georgios Samaras
Glad to see him score, still don't think he is good enough. Can't be relied upon enough for goals, which he may get away with know seen as we have other goal scorers.
Lets hope I was wrong about him .He did look like a joke just a few weeks back but I for one will happily eat my words if he turns out a player
A lot of the criticism aimed at him E.g. Calls for him to be sold, were totally over the top. A lot of the support bought into the media campaign that labelled MAF a flop and compared him to Laugherty. I did not agree with the intensity of this criticism but I have to admit I did criticize him also however not to that extent.
I am glad he is doing the business and long may it continue. His hold up play, ball control etc is top notch.
