Here's a question/situation for you to ponder on. And lets not underthink it here.

Given that we all knew this celtic team needed a complete revamp from last season, TM and the board had stated a few transfer windows would need to pass. Fair enough we all though.
Now, given that yes our defence does suck the cock, and we have attempted to fix this, unfortunately Hooiveld is injured now . But, with all these bad decisions, totally a 15pt swing, (taken from the other threads stats, and resources of bad decisions in previous games), we could have been sitting top of the table. Now, should these decisions have been called correctly, we would be top, and yet stil have a shit defence.

My quesiton, would you all be more forgiving to TM, and understanding that he is trying to solve the defence, had we been top?
Had we been getting the fair and level playing surface, we would be top, we would also acknowledge the shite defending, but know that changes are happening. So would we be fairer in response to TM?

If only he could beat Falkirk and not get dominated by them perhaps

Sorry Anth but no way am I buying this. The man can't guarantee a challenge never mind success. You can tell with his team selections, formations etc.

we're not top , the table doesnt lie , the huns are shite but their defence is far better than ours.

Mowbray shouldnt have sold/loaned caldwell or mcmanus until we had replacements of higher quality , and the fact he brought back o'dea from reading where he couldnt make that team and made him captain only to drop him for naylor in the next game , shows the management skills of this clown.

We could cannavaro and puyol in there and we would still lose goals , with this numpties motivational skills

By no means am I attempting to cover up any flaws, but I do feel that even with a defence as shit as ours, we should still be winning this league, and that other thread makes you think a bit.
What if we were still top, could/would we give him more time, more freedom.

We had the best defensive record in the League last year did we not? We could have Nesta and bloody Billy McNeill at his peak in there and we'd still lose the same goals.

Why can't everyone realise that we play the wrong fucking system and wrong players?

The fans were blaming the wrong players also.

We're not top and won't ever be under a manager who this kamikaze football!

tbh i couldnt care less if mowbray won the double now this season , i just want him gone asap and replaced with a manager that knows how to play a balanced side , with guys in the positon they are meant to play.

That knows how to get the best from his team , motivate them , and show some passion that will pass confidence to the team.

And lastly that knows how to orginise a defence to do the basics like defend corners

The only way I would agree on this and NOT retract all I've said about Mowbray is if the shame got points deducted which ain't gonna happen.

If he were to pull off a miracle then he would deserve credit.

    Won't happen though.

You are right there Metro mate. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but I am sure we have conceded more away goals than anyone in the top six and are on par with several of the lower teams in the league. Sad times.

Check the goals against column for any team that he has ever managed.

The board should have, before they employed him.

John Hartson was saying in the paper that the defence will get him the sack, but i dont think he will get the sack. He will be given another season if he doesnt win the league and he has time to get it right in the summer.

If we do not win the league then he does not deserve another year but I think you are right in saying that he will not be sacked. I think he will walk though and it could be as early as next week if we get beaten by the huns.

It's really up to the fans whether he stays or goes. Empty stadiums wouldn't encourage the board to keep him on. If we lose at Greyskull, the fans should vote with their feet.

We need to keep backing the team until then.

most already have MB, worst attendences i can remember in a long time, same for the atmosphere. may take something drastic lime a walk out during a match, although the amount of people that leave with 10 minutes to go is already pretty big.

Season ticket holders should walk out when the time's right. Non STHs should watch the home games in the pubs until the board sort out the mess they've caused.

i think a mass walk out would send out a message, but i'm backing the team till the leagues unwinnable, i'll be at the games giving them my full support.

Empty stadiums will not be needed because a) The attendances for home games are poor anyway and b) Our anger will be very vocal if we get beat at Ibrox and Mogga will be told in no uncertain terms where to go. He will resign if we get beat I think.
