If we need to sell - Boruc, Brown or McGeady ?
So there's every chance that we may need to sell one or more of our main assets in the Summer due to the fact we have not won the league for the past two seasons therefore meaning we are missing out on vital CL cash. It is likely that we will be selling in the Summer, so who would you rather see leave ?
Boruc - Our top class 'keeper and Celtic Legend ?
Brown - Our Captain ? Or
Aiden - Our main creative player who carries us at times ?
For me selling the Holy Goalie is a definite no! So that leaves me with Aiden and Scott. A few months ago I would have been 100% opposed to selling Aiden but it might not be a bad idea to sell him as he will bring in the most amount of money and he has kinda stagnated as a player here imo. Brown on the other hand now has a more important role in our team as Captain but I still don't rate him...I would not be gutted to see any of these two go but I would prefer Aiden to stay so it's Scott to go for me.

Brown. Only worry would be who'd pay for the fud?
Wouldn't be totally opposed to selling McGeady either for the right price.
Want to hold on to Boruc at all costs.

McCourt and Maloney are better than McGeady plus McGinn has potential so we're well covered if we even choose to play wingers every week which I wouldn't anyway.
In the last couple of seasons we've been better when AM isn't playing.
Boruc and Brown have their part to play. Boruc in particular.

Depends on how the money would be used and by whom, tbh giving TM anymore money does not inspire me, neither does selling all our assets to get similar or worse players in.....

Brown, although I would sell McGeady as well in order to raise serious funds for a new manager in the summer. I've seen a few people say we'll be keeping Mowbray because it would cost too much to let him go, is he not on a rolling contract? Meaning it wouldn't cost us anything to let him at the end of the season?

Brown all the way. In fact, I think he should be the first who should be shown the door in summer, he simply isn't good enough no matter how hard he tried.
McGeady will probably leave in summer, but I'd like to think we should hang onto him for at least a season.
As for Boruc, he's about to sign new deal. But even that doesn't clear all the doubts about his future in summer...

Brown's background doesnae really bother me tbh but his lack of ability does.
It's not as if he's a total DOB anyway, he's never played for them nor has he ever openly admitted being a hun etc.

Don't think so man, I thought it meant if we wanted him next season, he would be offered a new one year contract at the end of the season, and so on. Could be wrong though

I used to think metro was seriously unfair on the lad, but as time's went on, I see where he's coming from, for all the jump out your seat moments Aiden gives us, he more often than not has you groaning a second later with his distribution.
And lately the jump out your seat moments have been missing, and his distribution is still shite.
