Would do anything for him to stay. And I doubt we never begged Henrik to renew!

Well these days we need to get a scoutin the talents coming through like wigan did with Hugo Rodallega.

I still think Doumbia would have been a 30 a season thread if Peter Lawell had shelled out the extra 0.5 million euros. Now he got a £10 million move to CSKA moscow.

See it's players like that who can cost less than 5 million euros and just haven't been tapped up by the EPL etc yet who we need to look at and actually buy.

This is would be amazing of he stayed. Keane will be 30 at the end of the season, highly doubt Spurs would be able to sell him for 10+. McGeady/Brown and 4m I'd be chuffed to pieces. Would win us the league, no doubt about it.

Sorry mate but you've contradicted yourself there. You're saying he'll be 30 and Spurs won't want him yet we should swap McGeady or Brown for him when they're only starting to come into their own as they're still very young.

    Fuck swapping McGeady or Brown.
    They come from bonnie Scotland,
But they bow to Englands crown,
They really are a mixed up bunch,
    They let their country down,
    They're racists,thugs and bigots,
And we all know their name,
    They're fans of Glasgow Rangers
And they're known as Scotlands Shame.

i'd swap Brown any day of the week for keane, McGeady tho? No.

Another page set up by a group calling themselves the "Killowen Young Republicans" promises to "protect the Republican communities from the PSNI, hoods and most of all loyalists." The group's photo album contains numerous images of youths in balaclavas posing with a range of republican flags as well as a handguns and automatic weapons.

You'd swap a 25 year old for a 29 year old? No chance. We'd prob end up regretting it pending Brown turning into an alright player.

We shouldn't need Keane to win the SPL ffs.

see where you are coming from now, there are players out there it's just finding them (thought you meant established players, well i just assumed), one thing about mowbray was he's invested alot in scouting. I can't see why we can't have a similar set up like Ajax Feyenoord PSV etc. Drives me crazy when we buy players from the SPL or championship.

See, if Brown showed any partion of talent to suggest to me that there is a good player in the making, then of course I wouldn't.

Can you tell me what Brown even adds to the team? What is he even good at?

    Can't shoot, can't score, can't pass.

    Oh but he has 'dig'.

Keane for Brown everyday of the week.

Keane is country miles ahead of anyone in this team... And league for that matter. Brown isn't even our best player.

What i'm saying is i wouldn't swap any very young players (Brown & McGeady) for some pompus cunt coming to the end of his career who insists on playing football when the pitch suits and when he feels like it. This '' i'm not talking about my future until the end of the season'' reaks of pish to me and it's about time people realised that Keane is not a Celtic fan and is not a fucking legend as some are calling him. (Not referring to posts on here, just noticed this in general)

PS: Brown's pretty woeful i agree but i've an inkling he'll come good soon enough

How many seasons do you normally judge a player on? Everyone's been shit this season and I mean everyone. Doesn't help when a loony's running the team right enough.

Anyway, Brown was our best player last term, best player for Scotland and we've missed him all season imo. We've been shite without him

I don't think one good season out of three is particularly good do you? Yes we missed his good form, but what does that say! He left us in the shit!

If he was to be injured every season like Maloney then I could see where you're coming from.

What? He has had one good season out of three, he has been a failure overall. That cannot be denied You do not sign the best Scottish midfielder in years for a record fee to get one good season.

Lol, he's missed a season through injury. Give the guy a break!

What Celtic players since Larsson left have been great every season?

What season was this he missed? I am pretty sure he is near 20 appearances, very few in which he impressed(100% or not) although he managed it for Scotland. And don't mention the formation we shouldn't have to tailor the team around him,he needs to be flexible and be competent slightly out of position.

Its nothing to do with anyone else, why would it be? Celtic has had high standards since 1888 and they should always be strived to be maintained.

If your argument was just, then Naylor, and Zurwaski are on a par with Brown after all they each had one good season? Or does Brown get special treatment?

I quite like Naylor lol. We've been better since he's returned to the team. He had a great half a season. Wasn't a fan of Zurawski. I prefered Miller.

You always pick on Brown for some reason. That's why I'm asking the question. He's my type of player that gets right stuck in and his passing of late has improved tbf. Not one of his strong points but he's a winner never the less and it's winners this team has been missing all season.

Are you including his Left Back display at Killie btw?

Funnily enough we've been fucking shite with him too.

He came back from injury in october, he's had fucking months to 'recover' since he was declared fit. It's not some mysterious injuries fault he's shit, it's his lack of ability with a football.

See there you go, you give Brown the chance even though he has been the same performance wise over his Celtic carear as duds like Naylor, and players who had one good season like Zurwaski's. You are just so biased.

Brown was my favourite player up until this season, as you have to realise that the label of having 'dig' and 'grit' doesn't mean he actually does it. At times he has hid in shadows and his passing is fucking woeful.

I hope he comes good, but if he is too get any sort of praise or preference then he needs to earn it. (For Celtic not Scotland)
