Bellamy
Keane
Neither
They come from bonnie Scotland,
But they bow to Englands crown,
They really are a mixed up bunch,
They let their country down,
They're racists,thugs and bigots,
And we all know their name,
They're fans of Glasgow Rangers
And they're known as Scotlands Shame.

You not get them mixed up here? Did Keane not fail at Liverpool and Bellamy did because he fell out with everycunt when he went ape shit on Rise?Originally Posted by Jamesy;237298[B

Bit like Mr Marty.
Keane.
Bellamy relies on pace a lot and he's getting on a bit, i reckon he'll become a lot less effective in the next few years. Can't see Keano losing his sublime first touch and clinical finish anytime soon.
Keane was played on the wing a lot at Liverpool as well.
Fair enough, I will still always rather have Bellamy, you see how frustrated Keane gets when Samaras plays a pass 40 yards in the opposite direction. Bellamy could score and then run and hit Sammy by himself.
9 in 21 is similar ratio to Drogba, Rooney
he had a 6 week barron spell then a few goals came at once. Can't remember the games too well tbh but my summary was he was there to supply torres/second striker then turned out gerard played really well at second striker so keane got punted for tactical reasons. Honestly wasn't watching much EPL football when bellamy was at liverpool so i'm not sure if he was on the wing or what but the goal game ratio isn't great..
Keane.
GOD BLESS TOMMY BURNS

tbh Bellamy's a much better player.

They are different, Keane is a striker and a good goalscorer and Bellamy is more of a wide player and creator. Bellamy is like a top quality version of Maloney and Keane a top quality version of McDonald. We could get away with playing Bellamy as a striker because of how good he is but he's not at his best with his back to goal he's better on the wing cutting in.
I would take Keane because he's less injury prone and would be guarenteed to score atleast 30 goals a season. Bellamy would create a lot of chances but like McGeady we then cant guarentee that we'd have a striker to score the goals you cant set up goals if theres no-one thats going to put it in the net. If we had Keane enough goals would still be created and its a goalscorer we need not more to set goals up because players like McGeady and Maloney set up enough in the SPL anyway.
"What these players have to realise, is that when you put on the Celtic jersey you're not playing for a football team, you're playing for a community and a cause"
I think Bellamy is the better player. He can destroy teams on his own and even if he loses some pace he will still create havoc.
I like Keane's work rate and he has scored more goals that I thought he would as he hasn't ever been prolific at club level although he looks class amongst our strikers.
The only problem you have with Bellamy is that he is a complete w****r. If it isn't going well he seems to lose the plot and moan about everything. This would not be good for the team. He has been outstanding this year though and has been much more settled looking even when moaning about Mancini.
I wouldn't be mad on Hughes coming but if he did then Bellamy may come with him as he seemed to enjoy playing for him.
Bellamy for me but over a longer period Keane would not go in the huff and lose the plot so he could work out better in the long run and would get at least 20 each season.
