I will be using the 10 month plan because I am not usually in the position to buy tickets weekly, this way I know the money will be coming out monthly and I wont have to budget to buy tickets.
The board are probably looking at this thinking it will help some supporters get a ST even though they cant afford to pay the lump sums like before. It's the usual though, some people will find flaws in anything because they are determined that the board are screwing us.
See those figures on the previous page, do you think "some people (me) will find flaws in anything because they are determined that the board are screwing us."
I didn't make those figures up just so I could have a go at the board.
Also, I seriously doubt the aim was so the board could ensure we could pay for out ST's.
It's apathy that lets the club away with things like these. Your post seemed very apathetic.
It's a good idea to help guys who can't afford to pay that all at once, but why the interest?
If Hibs aren't adding interest (and they'll be getting much lower ticket revenue anyway), why are we?

That interest plan is disgusting. Spineless cunts. SACK THE BOARD.
They come from bonnie Scotland,
But they bow to Englands crown,
They really are a mixed up bunch,
They let their country down,
They're racists,thugs and bigots,
And we all know their name,
They're fans of Glasgow Rangers
And they're known as Scotlands Shame.
If we sold, say 50,000 season tickets, it would cost the board £4,160,000 to pay off the interest so the fans didn't have to.
It's expensive, but not overwhelmingly so. And the board would be getting the gratitude of the fans, more season ticket holders, and a better atmosphere in return.

Not just that, why the need to do it via an outside finance company ?
Hibs (the only team I have accurate info about) have set up their own direct debit accounts where they take the 10 month interest payments into without interest.
From what I also know, Celtic take a cut of that 15.9%
Celtic didn't except debit cards till this season, I know for the Arsenal game debit cards were still refused. The first i had been able to use mine was for the Huns game just there.
I may be in the minority but I'm happy to pay the extra percentage because it means I am able to afford a ST for the first time in a few years. I'd imagine there will be as many people happy about this as there is seeing it as another excuse to sack the board.
I think its better for the club and the fans though. Fans are paying a bit more but theyre getting longer to pay it so that will help them.
The reason they'll be doing it with another finance company is probably so they get all the money up front. Im not an expert but I think if 40,000 fans get a season ticket and they all do this thing then that finance company will pay Celtic the full price of every ticket up front that Celtic can then stick in the bank or whatever and the fans just pay that finance company and they make the money by getting the 16% extra
"What these players have to realise, is that when you put on the Celtic jersey you're not playing for a football team, you're playing for a community and a cause"
Just another way to tax the poor. Anyone who is reduced to these measures to pay for their season ticket is obviously struggling financially. So it is morally wrong to do this.
Celtic are losing their soul. Brother Walfrid will be spinnng in his grave. Fuck the PLC.
But the ground will not nearly be sold out next season, meaning you can buy the tickets much cheaper every home game.
You would be mad to give them the extra, give the money to a family member every month and then take what you need each week.
You have to be fecking brainless to take up that offer, no offence
"Celtic is important to me in as much as it's one of the only constants in my life over the years. I have changed and become various things but it is the one constant. Religion, friendships have come and gone, likes and dislikes have come and gone, but Celtic has remained." - Billy Connolly
It's laughable when they try to say they introduced this after taking the fan's views into consideration
As if they need a fuckin third party to accept a few payments
