Exams started today, first year college, absolutely disgusting.
They come from bonnie Scotland,
But they bow to Englands crown,
They really are a mixed up bunch,
They let their country down,
They're racists,thugs and bigots,
And we all know their name,
They're fans of Glasgow Rangers
And they're known as Scotlands Shame.
goodluck to all ye's doing exams and the likes, aslong as youse don't look at the paper and think to yourself fuck this im sure youse will do well.

I'm pretty lucky, only 30 in my class. I don't think any degree is pointless though, even sport and other non-academic degrees. There's a guy on our postgrad course who got in with a degree in acting. Any degree will open doors, be that in further education or employment. A lot of employers only want to know that you've got the ability to stick a course and earn your degree in order to give you a chance.
nearly every sports student wants to teach PE, theres just not that many openings and hardly any openings for those with sports related degrees, theres a big push to get people into uni these days yet when they come out, whats the ration 300 people to 1 graduate job? they should perhaps re think, i mean i agree with everyone improving there education but when i see some of those class sizes its ridiculous, they resemble something like that of a chinese school
Well anybody who wants to teach PE these days will be doing a postgrad course anyway, a PGCE. You're right in what you say though, there probably aren't that many openings for PE teachers in full time employment as it's a bit of niche, at least over here. But a sports degree will still open all sorts of doors, for example companies that will only accept graduates for training. Ok, they may not be using what they've learned, but they're using their degree to get them on in life. A degree maximises life chances, some more than others right enough - but no degree is pointless.

Bit like Mr Marty.
Not being able to walk isn't necessarily a bad thing. Describe your surroundings. What do you have around you? Have you a beer handy? Remote? Bell for the missus? Not being able to walk can be as much of a boon as a bastard, if you play your cards right. Think positive fella.![]()
