Thread: Celtic FM 08 tactics

I've been trying to play as Celtic on FM 08(my computer probably can't run 09), but my 4-4-2 diamond and 3-5-2(2 DM-s) tactics aren't working. I can't seem to get the control of the midfield. Does anybody have an advice on how to set up these 2 tactics to work?

Sno, Hartley and S. Brown all don't cut it at DM?

Dont have FM08, juts 07 and play 09 now. Tactic that works a treat for me:

Play four in defense with the FBs roaming forward.

Play 2 defensive midfielders in the centre. Play a central midfielder (Brown) who bombs forward.

Play with wingers (LAM, RAM). Set there inidividual tactics to make lots of runs and run with the ball, but set crosses to 'rarely'. This will let them cut inside and use their skill to shoot/play a short pass to the striker/supporting midfielders.

Play with one guy upfront, your best allround srtiker, use as a targetman if possible.

Set passing to wide, and buildup to slow with short passing.

I need someone who's used the tactics I've been trying, so I can improve mine.
