Thread: Question?

Started a new season with Villa there, doing alright. Anyway here's the thing, in the January transfer window i needed to add quality to the midfield, so i seen Van der Vaart was transfer listed but i decided i wanted to take him on loan as budgets are tight. So i've got him on loan now for the rest of the season (for 500k fee, with no future price/option to buy) but he's on cracking form, and i've decided i want to secure him as a permanent signing. I don't want to wait until the end of the season incase other teams swoop for him after his good form.

So, if i make an offer to Madrid, for say £7m which was his transfer listed price before i loaned him, and say they accept. Would he still stay with me for the duration of the loan? Or would the loan terms be overrode, and he'd go back to Madrid until he can move permanently in the summer?

That's my worry, i need him to see this season out, but i also want to tie him up ASAP! Anyone know the deal there?

Lol, i always come and go with FM mate, hadn't played it in about 4 months before this week, was sick at the start of the week so thought what better time to get stuck into a life consuming game of FM. Near end of my 1st season: 8th in the leage (pretty bad) but on a real hot streak, in semifinals of Europa league to play Hamburg (cunts!), knocked out of qtr finals of FA cup by Pool and City knocked me out early of LC.

If i break into top 7 of the league/Win the Europa League i'll be satisfied with the season. Brought in Perotta for £3m, Van der Vaart on loan, and signed Malouda for next season.

Yaaass! Just won the Europa League in my first season with Villa!

Went through 2 qualifying rounds, went unbeaten in the group stages, then knocked out Sevilla, Braga, Celtic, Hamburg, and Werder Bremen in the final!

Carew was injured, Agbonlahor was banned, so i had to play Heskey up front - and fuck did he have a game! Scored our first (equaliser), then set up Young and Downing in ET!



I finished just outside the European places in the league (8th), but being the holder i think i should have automatic entry for next season, and that should knock Chelsea down and out who finiahed 7th hahahaha! Quality.
