Not wanting to steal Conorcfc's limelight or anything but I'm gonna try and document my Celtic team's progress through a season in the Championship (and CL).
Just had my first competitive game, a home first leg tie against Slavia Prague in the CL Qualifier. Won 5-0 with 2 goals from loan signing Tomas Necid and one from fellow loan signing Michael Bradley, after Kamara had added to Maloney's opening strike.

I'm just trying to get 10 in a row... can't exactly do that in the Championship/Prem. Right now I'm going for 4 and won the Europa League the previous season.
Don't worry about that mate, glad i've encouraged you to try it out anyways. It really is a great challenge (nothing like shutting the English up). I'm currently sitting 2nd in the Premiership in my fourth season after about 22 games. Was predicted 9th spot. In the previous season I was predicted 14th and came 7th.
Word of advice: Keep an eye on fitness/stamina/morale closely in the first season, with playing so many games it's hard to keep fitness and performances up and therefore morale. Trying building a really deep squad, because if you get a decent run in the cups on top of the league you'll end up playing 70/80 games.
Aye it was a killer for me too mate, was the difference between me getting a play-off spot and a promotion spot.
Because my players were getting so tired some were getting injured, whereas others were just generally wrecked. Started conceeding silly late equalisers/winners and the morale started to go down. Plus because I had something like 5 games in hand, I was sitting around 7th. And because of this the players started to lose faith.
I made a long term plan and stuck to it. My only aim this year is to get promoted, I don't care about profits or lucrative cup runs I just want to get into the Prem, after that I'll be rolling in it

Was happening with mate mate. Coaches were telling me to rest players who were the only capable players in their positions due to injuries to others. Meant having to play either a tired player or an inadequate player.
If you're not bothered about cup runs then I suggest fielding a weaker side for them mate. Really will benefit in the long run if you can cut out having to play an extra season. Promotion shouldn't be too difficult, in my first season I only brought in a top class striker and CB (both still start for me) and a few loan signings like Aaron Ramsey. And still managed to get within 2 points of a promotion spot even with all the trouble with my team etc.
What happened in 2028 lol, ya didn't even come 2nd
