Thread: Anyone wanna join my network game?

Could start afresh but I'd rather you just joined my one. I'm in my second season as Celtic, in the EPL. You can be whoever you want. Or if you'd rather wait til the end of my current season so you get the full budget & transfer window.

Hahaha was that when I went out for a few pints or something and didn't come back til 6 in the morn, and I'd been on holiday? All ye had left and I was like 5 seasons ahead and my whole squad had left on frees :rofl:

To those wondering how it works, you just enter the host's IP address from the Network menu. Everyone needs the same version too i.e. have all the patches installed.

Can we pick any teams, or are we doing EPL? I'm confused about it, do we just play a regular FM Game? Or do we be in each others games and can therefore actually play each others teams?

It's just like playing a regular one player game except say, you take over Man Utd in my game. Then we go about the season like you normally would, except you're managing Man U rather than the computer. Only difference is you have to wait for everyone else to click Continue (tho u can set timers so once say 50% of ppl are waiting a 30sec count down kicks in)

Oh. I get it now mate. So it basically requires a set amount to be online at one time? Aye, that would be fun. Would be good if we could get a good number of regulars who would be on at given times.

Any ideas on what leagues we are going?

Its Euskadi's Old F**m England game so all english teams ( and the Scum) are available if ive read right

Was wondering whether he had any other leagues set as active. If in the case that it's only EPL teams. I'll go Arsenal. Should be a decent enough challenge, don't really like going United/Chelsea/Liverpool.

Liverpool are a much bigger challenge than Arsenal in FM. They have pretty much no money because of the debt and a lot of their squad is pretty shit. Arsenal have lots of money and lots of the best young players.

I'm just gonna fire it up now so if anyone wants to join PM me and I'll tell you the IP.

It's English Prem and Championship teams (Huns are still in the Champ haha), it's not really much craic if you're not all in the same league though. Bare in mind that I'm like 1.5 years into the game as well - check out the squads before taking a team!

anyone know if this'll work with pirated version?
