I think you've backtracked from your initial stance, which was far more dismissive of others' opinions.

Was it not the woman who refused to store ammunition who was humiliated?

i have said many times to whoever i've replied to in this thread that they are entitled to their opinions but mine is more informed. ffs at the start some actually thought we poured boiling tar on people! and so did i according to you.

if i did seem dismissive to people at the start of the thread its because its a subject very close to my heart and i resent people saying anything bad about the I.R.A when they dont have a scoobie about what it was like back home or what the I.R.A did for us and our families.

Well I think it was dismissive- and disagree with that. However, I can understand why.
