“If he wants to learn about scoring goals, he should nip over to watch us train at Lennoxtown some afternoon and I'll show him a thing or two about finishing”
tbf when the british army have recently murdered countless young, innoent people in that area, you can expect peoples emotions to be running a little high. i used to actually enjoy watching joyriders get tarred and feathered
drug dealers deserve to be tarred and feathered and set on fire

she shouldnt have married a brit

no i'm not. we're talking about the aftermath of bloody sunday. what an insult to the community to go and marry someone who could well have participated in it.
british soldiers thought they were on fucking safari in ireland, they treated people like scum and to marry one is an absolute fucking disgrace.
That particular picture was taken in 71, before Bloody Sunday. But regardless, it’s still prettying sickening to think a pregnant woman should be subject to that kind of unnecessary torture simply because she was engaged to a Brit.

if you lie down with dogs, you get up with flea's.
i know it seems barbaric and OTT, but it was almost 40 years ago. try and place yourself in the comunities position, your home is shot at, your harrassed on the street, innocent people are shot dead by the brits then your neighbour marries one,how would you feel?
its all well and good sitting back now and saying its wrong, its all about context. it was a terrible time for the 6 counties, alot of it because of the british army.
but tarring and feathering a pregnant woman
I'm afraid to say, I think they were entirely justified in tarring the one who was going with a Brit. What the fuck was going on in this silly bint's mind? She deserved it.
sorry to be the bearer of bad news to yous but you can't help who you fall in love with! She never killed no one, she didn't harass anyone it's the Brit who should have been tarred and feathered
she fell in love with someone who she shouldn't have but havnt we all!! She didn't deserve what she got!
Was she given a warning or anything? If she was, then surely she would have moved away from the area? And even if she wasn't, surely she should have known that it wouldn't go down well?
We Are All Georgios Samaras
No you do have some degree of control over who you fall in love with. Some people are off limits. If I started dating a girl and then found out she was in combat 18 or whatever, then I sure as fuck would end it there and then.
She didn't kill anyone, granted, but she brought massive shame onto her community and probably her family.
She deserved it allright.
