Thread: 10 year olds charged with rape

I blame T.V as what alot of people do these days but then again theres always some shit that goes on behind the scenes, these cubs coulda been abused by their parents, their parents could be carrying out sexual acts on eachother infront of them, or their parents don't controll the tv programmes they watch and they learn to rape off it. alot of different possibilities but at the end of the day johnny law (hehe i always wanted to say that lol, not the time to joke i apologise),anyways the law is probly guna let the wee tramps off too easy which will more than likely make them think it's ok to do it again in the future.

I do advocate the death penalty but not here. I honestly don't believe a ten year old can comprehend the repercussions of something like this. They should be taken into care and given serious counselling, and monitored for the rest of their lives. Not the jail or the death penalty though, not in this case.

And since someone mentioned the Bulger case... while I think what those lads did was absolutely disgusting beyond words, and at the time I'd have had them shot at the drop of a hat, I do actually believe that they no longer pose a threat to society. Now they've grown up, either what they did has been blocked from their minds, or it's scarring them for life - which is deterrent enough. In summary, they should have been executed for what they did but I think they're no longer a threat now.

I am shocked by the people on here who wish the death penalty returned to these shores...

That frightens me more than 99% of the crimes committed in this country...

If the death penalty was a deterrent then America, and some other countries would have no serious crimes committed....yet?

I agree with everyone about the horrific nature of the rape case here, makes it worse when you see the ages of the people involved. but, the death penalty....for a 10 yr old....that is horrifying!!!

Very similar thing happened not long ago

I,ve been watching this case on the news ,papers n stuff.

Very disturbed children indeed .Apparently the dad was a violent arsehole,there where 5 other children in the family and the mother could n,t cope,to such an extent she used to put hash in their tea at night to get some peace and quiet.

As a result of this the weans all ran riot but instead of dealing with the father ie jailing him for abuse then dealing with the children individually ie taking them out that environment and teaching them this is not a normal upbringing.

It seems from what I have saw/read about it the main focus from social services was the mother and the children where just put into care and dealt and treated as (bad children should be )

In the build up to this horrible act there where numerious acts by the children which highlighted the fact these kids don,t just need flung in a home and ignored .These little bastards needed help and they did n,t get it .

As a result we have them commiting this disguisting act and it's probably too late to show them how to live a normal life .Oh and the social services department from that area where already on a watch list.

All I can say is thank god them two wee boys lived through their ordeal
