Says BNP leader....
THE BRITISH National Party would make an exception for Irish people under its anti-immigration policies, leader Nick Griffin said yesterday.
Speaking on BBC radio, Griffin vowed to shut the door to migrants because Britain, he claimed, is “the most overcrowded country” in Europe.
“We are certainly not going to shut the doors to the Irish, because the Irish, as far as we are concerned, are part of Britain and fully entitled to come here,” the leader of the far-right party said.
“If you are talking about Polish plumbers or Afghan refugees, the doors are going to be shut, because Britain is full.
“The door is shut to any significant numbers whatsoever, from anywhere. It’s open where it suits Britain and suits the British people.”
Griffin, whose party is fielding more than 300 candidates in next week’s election, also said the BNP would offer non-white British people £50,000 to leave the country and return to the land of their forebears.
Griffin said the voluntary programme would be open to around 180,000 people a year who “could go back and help develop their own countries”.
He said the scheme would be funded from the foreign aid budget and money the government is “wasting at the moment on ridiculous climate change adaptation policies”.

The irony here is that the British are actually Irish. They try to act like they're the Anglo Saxons but in reality pure germanic blood is rare on the Island of Britain and most of it is the original Neolithic stock that settled the island (and then Ireland) after the glaciers receded. The Irish have some slight genetic differences but it's akin to the difference between the Galicians and the Portuguese.

Too many people underestimate that party. They got a wee scare when he got an MEP seat, but still think they wont get far. Only takes them to get in control of councils to make the next leap, MPs.
