Sensible and we would still be sitting on wooden benches bolted to the old terracing watching the huns winning 20 in a row and the Kelly's talking about Cambuslang.

Heard all this sensible patter back in 1979.
The tory chunts were in for the next 18 years.
London has NO moral or political reason to hold the Scottish people back.

The ball is firmly in the Scottish People's 18 yard box.

[B]Its to them to Go for it.
I agree but there doesnt seem to be enough support to get it passed now, a couple of years of tory power could change things

The perceived lack of support comes from the failure of the political class to EXPLAIN THE REASONS why independence would benefit the 5 million people living in Scotland.
Chapping doors and speaking to people one on one shouldn,t be left to three weeks before a Referendum.
Nobody from any political party has chapped my door in 25 years.
If the politicos want independence then they should get off their bahookies and fight for it.

Nobody believed in 1994 thousands of Celtic fans would cough up £600 each to buy shares in Celtic.

It took a funny wee guy with a bunnet tramping round all over the globe for two or three years to make it happen.

    And happen it did.

It could take at least 7 years to get a referendum on independance,we will only get one if SNP stay in power at hollyrood, that could change at the next election,if it does then it simply wont happen,3 things need to happen for a referendum to take place.
1, tories must stay in power and keep screwing SCOTLAND
2, SNP must win the election
3, The referendum must be presented sensibly and not off a shortbread tin
