What ye reckon our chances of getting him back are?

He resigned too late im afraid. Had he left before Lennon was appointed i reckon there was a good chance he would come back to Celtic.

I'd defo take him as a director of football mind - he'd be able to help Lennon out!

Was just about to post this, Lenny get him signed up as an advisor/DOF.

Where will he go now?

If I were Lennon I'd happily step down to Assistant and let MON take the reins. Never gonna happen though, too big a shake up, would involve everyone taking a step down and Lennon probably has too much pride for it.

would love to see it happen mate but i don't think Lennon would do that. DoF is the best we can hope for i think

Well all the bigger jobs down South are taken for the moment, so O'Neill would have to look at being a pundit for a while again until something comes up. I hope it's not the Celtic job because obviously that would mean the team under performing.

lennys contract wouldn't be that much to buy out, one can dream......

tbh. I don't think he'd be all that interested in a return here. It'll, in all honesty, be a backward step in his career. He'll wanna stick around England. And if it was this time a month or so ago, and both Celtic and Liverpool positions were vacant, he'd be the manager of Liverpool.

If you were a Villa fan you'd be extremely pissed at the timing of this, tbf.

Fuck knows who they'll bring in that'll emulate what he's done there.

I'm wouldn't be sure about that. I think he was like Larsson, loved the club and tim to the core
