I thought the same at the start but one of my most treasured sporting memories is standing in the hogan stand freezing cold but never so proud to be irish this still sends shivers up my spine:

didnt know that. However, if it is supposed to be an Irish home game it should be played somewhere in Ireland

Could you clear something up for me? Iv had mates saying that the English GSTQ was booed in some parts of Croker but they muted it on the tele?
Also, was there much fights outside the game?

I think it's good for Irish sport to be brought to Irish immigrant communities for a change, rather than the other way around. Like the time the All-Ireland football final was played in New York.

It is alright, but the point I was making was that that final was a sell out, as I'm sure an Ireland match at Parkhead would be.

im sure it would but i dont like the idea of an ireland homematch outside of ireland. Celtic have a lot of fans worldwide, would you be happy for a homematch to be played in London say?

Since it's only a friendly I wouldn't be too bothered. Friendlies are about giving people who wouldn't normally have a chance to see Celtic the opportunity to do so, like the game in Australia this year.
