CONSPIRACY-crazy R*ngers fans have blasted a referee for attaching a CROSS to his whistle.
And they have flooded internet forums with bonkers claims that the gesture shows Willie Collum is BIASED towards Celtic.
The ref showed the Christian symbol during last weekend's Hoops' match at St Johnstone.
The Bhoys were losing 1-0 in the SPL clash when Collum sent off a Saints player. They went on to win 4-1. TV pundits said the official's decision was CORRECT.
But afterwards, livid Gers fans still went online to slam the ref over his religious display.
On one website, a sick poster fumed: "Job done Father Collum. You must be so proud."
The referee, 31, had previously worn a St Christopher medal on his whistle during matches.
Collum teaches religious education at Cardinal Newman High School in Bellshill, Lanarkshire.
Last night he confirmed he'd attached a cross to his whistle.
Collum said: "It's because I'm a Christian person. I don't believe anybody could question my honesty. I'm stunned."
An SFA spokesman said: "We don't want to comment.
Catholic refs, what the fuck is this country coming to!?!?
"When you pull on that jersey you're not just playing for a football club, you're playing for a people and a cause"
God Bless Mr Celtic
and they call us paranoid! Is this not the same ref who fucked us up a few games back, bit drunk to remember what actual game it was but i can remember shouting at the telly at him
Cheers Cash67
Funny how their conspiracy theories make the headlines but our years and years of pleading for transperancy never gets mentioned![]()

The forces of Satan with more vitriolic hatred of all things even remotely synonymous with Catholicism.

“If he wants to learn about scoring goals, he should nip over to watch us train at Lennoxtown some afternoon and I'll show him a thing or two about finishing”
They are like fuckin vampires these "people"
A wee cross and they lose the plot altogether
A very sick race yer hun
Fucking idiots .I wish I had a hun near me to slap

They wouldn't complain if he had Union Jack-coloured whistle or something. They're stupid, stupid, stupid scum. Bunch of idiots who always say Celtic fans are paranoid while they're looking for moronic ways to complain.
By the way, he wasn't biased at all, he gave St. Johnstone penalty which was very dubious, plus he chopped off goal. We were much better, we won and I see nothing wrong there.
Fuck 'em. The referee wasn't biased towards us. OC says everything-we had a good goal ruled out, and the penalty wasn't clear.
All hail the Sorcerer of Yokohama!!
Not suprising in the least. This doesn't just demonstrate how bigoted they are, but also how jaw-droppingly stupid they are - isn't a cross a general Christian symbol, not just a Catholic one? I've never been in a Protestant Church, but I'm pretty sure they have crosses.
You know what lads, he must be biased towars R*ngers!!! He has a cross, their churches have crosses...he's a dirty biased hun!!!![]()
The absolute morality that a religious person might suggest would include what? Stoning people for adultery? Death for apostasy? These are all things that are religiously based absolute moralities. I don't think I want an absolute morality; I think I want a morality that is thought out, reasoned, argued, discussed and based upon - you could almost say - intelligent design.
Can we not design our society? The sort of society we want to live in?
~Richard Dawkins on secular morality.
i didn`t realise a cross is a catholic thing personally i thought it was the crucifix, the reason the HUNchbacked fannies are complaining is probably more to do with the fact that they know he`s a catholic and the name of the school he teaches at.
things like this really show these people up for what they are a shower of bigoted reprobates with no concept of the fact that this is actually the 21st century.
the even sadder thing is as we all know is that there won`t be one of these fools with an ounce of any Christian faith in their whole mishaped bodies.
all they need is hate.
