Attendances in lower leagues were usually over 30,000.

Celtic are a bigger club than every premier league club bar united and liverpool. So that really proves a point, doesnt it grumpy bollocks.

Nah i just laugh at the soulless pathetic excuses for clubs like Chelsea and Man City thinking they are so special because they were taken over and pumped full of money. Buying success doesn't make you a big club, smacks of smugness and arrogance to me. Same attitude from Man Utd fans that they profess to hate so much. Id say the size of a club is measured on fan base, history, success etc. City aren't a big club imo.

All the empty seats? 47000 capacity, 3000 away fan allocations, average 42000 attendance.

Man City soulless? Sorry fella but one thing City and the fans are not known for is that, we've been rich for a season and a half, you'll have to wait a bit longer to make judgements like that. We have history, we have a big fan base, the only thing we dont have is recent success.

By your logic football didnt exist before 1993 either, since City won their last trophy in 1976 then went up and down the leagues. Before the late 80s we were one of the main clubs in England.

Those days are coming back.
