Francessco Totti for this bear....his loyalty has been unquestionable to Roma over the years when he had the whole of Europe willing to throw whatever money he wanted at him. range of passing, touch, dribbling ability and shot are second to none.Totti has a World Cup, a Euro Runners up, a Serie A, numerous Italian Cups and Super cups, a couple of Italian golden boots and a raft of player of the year medals in his back pocket. He was also man of the match in Euro 2000 final when Italy lost, and but for Italy being screwed out of the 02 wc would could of possibly won another wc medal. This was all achieved without whoring himself out to the Barcas, Madrids, Uniteds etc. In 06 he played in the WC with a metal plate in his foot and still made the team of the tournament. What a genius

Larsson, Messi, Giggs, Scholes, Zidane, the list is endless.

Giggs has never been up for any major individual honour how can he even be considered?

He's a very good player but that's it.

Scholes, Keane, Cantona, Rooney and Ronaldo are exceptional players but Giggs isn't really, just played loads of games.

For me the runners would be

Ronaldo -as in Ronaldo Luis Nazario De Lima, Zidane, Del Piero, Larsson, Totti, Buffon, Casillas and Maldini

I've been thinkin about who I would go for on this thread, and I really cant see past Ryan Giggs.

The guy has been different class and been a mainstay of the best team in the last 15 years. He has played in different positions, and played well in them. His medal collection must be one of the best in modern football.

Zidane, no question

Beckham , Zidane , Figo, Henry and Viera and Bergkamp. Its hard to choose only one ,too many great players

Larsson hands down.

Zidane a close second.

Others are right to have Zidane in the mix, wouldn't have him ahead of Totti though
