Ally McCoist has pleaded for an end to the player sell-off threatening to dismantle R*ngers’ title hopes before the new season even kicks off.

The assistant manager called on the bankers cashing in on the great Ibrox exodus to halt the one-way traffic, insisting: ‘Enough is enough.’

Top scorer Kris Boyd, midfielder Kevin Thomson, impact sub Nacho Novo, American winger DaMarcus Beasley and now rising Wilson have all left either under freedom of contract or in exchange for much-needed cash.

McCoist fears more could yet follow, with serious offers for the likes of centre-half Madjid Bougherra or striker Kenny Miller unlikely to be refused by the money men trying to repair R*ngers’ ruinous finances.

McCoist said: ‘Do I think we’ve reach the stage where enough’s enough? Yes, absolutely.

‘Look at the players we’ve lost - Thommo, Danny Wilson, Nacho, Boydy, Stevie Smith, DaMarcus. Have I missed anyone?

‘That’s a lot of first-team squad players to lose without being replaced. It’s time to start replacing them now rather than thinking about losing any more.

‘Do the people behind the scenes at the bank appreciate that? I hope so. I’m sure they do, although I’ve not had any dealings with them.

‘It would disappoint me to lose any more players. In fact, we’ll definitely get one or two in. But there is no point in just getting bodies to make up the numbers. We must get the right bodies.

‘It helps that we don’t have any Champions League qualifiers, but I feel for the fans as much as anything. They will be asking: “Where are the new signings?”

‘They want to know what’s happening. We have to get it right for them.’

R*ngers' assistant manager Ally McCoist has called for the club's rivals not to underestimate the club's team spirit this season.

Gers are the SPL champions ahead of the new campaign and the team to beat, but it has not been a close season to remember.

Tight financial constraints has seen the club lose a host of stars while manager Walter Smith is yet to add to his depleted squad.

McCoist has been pleased with the squad's attitude in pre-season training and sees no reason why they cannot maintain wining ways this term.

"It's an important thing in pre-season to get yourselves away to a good training camp with good facilities," he told the club's official website.

"As much as anything, the change of scenery gives the players a real opportunity to bond and click as a unit.

"The players will agree with me when I say that last year, one of our strongest points was the spirit the lads had.

"Within their own camp and their squad, there was a strength and desire that I hadn't seen for a long, long time.

"I would never underestimate how much value there was in us going away and building that harmony.

"Hopefully being abroad as a group again works for us in the same way as we look to defend the title."

The fact that their problems are more than two years old and that they're on 2 in a fucking row, means we should not underestimate their team spirit.

The thing that's got them running scared though, is the fact we have a man in charge who will not only match their spirit but shite all over it.

Add to that the signings we've made, and you can see why Sally stopped sucking Walters cock for 5 minutes to speak about his fears
