i agree but up until now aidens been our only threat. he's wrecked and he's constantly marked by at least 2 people. now we have more of a threat from keane and kamara i hope the wee man gets a rest.

I'd rather focus on the league.

It's the only silverware I want.

it'll probably give him the much needed kick up the arse he deserves resting him mate.

He lets his head go down too easy at times, look at the other night for example. He started off well and had some good link up play with Keane, we don't score, he gets robbed of the ball, he acts like a kid with that tackle and then gets himself booked.

After that booking, his head went down and he barely done a thing for the rest of the season.

Also, and i know this has been mentioned many a time, but he really needs to get the head up when he goes on a run. Far too many times does he skin a defender only to be let down by his cross or shot.

    rest of the season?

i know what you're saying stag, his final ball is whats stopping him being a top class player. we've all been saying it for years now and i havent seen much of an improvement tbh. at least he's got a few goals this year.

he's the best we've got though and at times he's been our only attacking threat. a wee rest at the weekend, get brown on the right and then let a fresh aiden lose on the diet huns next week.

:o the rest of the game i meant lol

I know that he's the best we have mate and maybe he knows that too and feels too much pressure to perform at times which in turn frustrates him.

One thing i'll never call into question about aiden is his desire and commitment to Celtic. He plays with his heart on his sleeve, i just wish he could be less frustrating at times

Back to the dunfermline game though - We really need to win this one at the weekend and we need to win it comfortably so as to get a bit of momentum and some confidence.

I'd maybe play with a 3 up front consisting of:

    Fortune Razza Keane.

That way we have keano to pull into the space behind razza and fortune and hopefully play some decent passes into the box, Razza will be in the box and hopefully will recieve some good service with fortune dragging defenders out wide.

I'll predict a decent win by at least a couple of goals but i do think we'll probably conceed too

you hit the nail on the head there my man.

not sure about 3 up front against hunfirmline. when we tried playing aiden behind a front 2 against falkirk we were shocking IMO. no width at all defensively and going forward.

    would go for this team

    ----------------------------boruc

    caddy----------------loovens--------thompson----------braafheid

    brown-------------n'guemo------------------ki---------------kamara

    --------------------keane----------------rassmussen

it would be quite a fluid formation. brown will help in the middle, caddy can push on down the flank and kamara and keane can switch places during the game

aye, i like the looks of that mate. I don't know if Kamara's natural position is a winger though, i see him as more of a forward.

I would also maybe replace Ki with Crosas too - Ki looks ok but Crosas has a good partnering with N'Guemo which i don't think Ki has yet and Marc can also pick out a nice pass and with Keane and Razza up front making runs i think someone will get on the end of his passes more often than not.

i think kamaras a tough one to call, his finishing is pretty frustrating from what i can remember. will fluff the easy one then bang one in from outside the box. untill wee shauns back i'd play him there and we're top heavy with strikers atm. as i say him and keano can switch about, makes them harder top pick up.

might be a good shout on crosas too. i like ki but he let us down badly defensively the other night. these huns will be well up for it so it'll be rough at times. you've sold it to me stag, crosas and n'guemo in the middle for me too.

and we already have one of those sort of strikers in Fortune.

Aye, Crosas will be up for this game an all mate. He's been left on the bench the last couple of games and will be hungry to win his place back with the new signings etc.

true man. you know i thought fortune played well against killie. always a threat and it was one of his better games.

crosas needed a kick in the arse. hasnt been the same since the last match against the huns last season when he had a nightmare. needs to be more urgent and stop passing the ball sideways so much. now we've got an out and out target man and willing, quick runners off him crosas can start picking forward passes again.

think we'll nail these cunts, then its onwards and upwards.

aye i thought big fortune played well the other night too mate, in fact for the last few games i think he's done pretty well. I was just meaning that he will fluff an open goal from 6 yards at times and then will score a 20 yard screamer!

I'm with you for nailing these cunts, i want to see is fucking destroy them!

Are R*ngers not like 2 SC wins away from our record or something?

That's why I want to win it

    Boruc
    Caddis - Loovens - Thompson - Braafheid
    Brown - N'Guemo - Ki
    Kamara
    Keane - Rasmussen

Hopefully a good doing of Dunfermline can get the confidence up and see us start a run of form, hopefully.

It will take more than that mate. We've everything to lose and nothing to gain in this game.
