I get the feeling he is in this for one big pay day, ie Valuev. After getting dismantled I think he will fade away into obscurity.

Also the fight,s in Germany is it no ,Valuev,s adopted country so even if Haye manages to hold onto his head for the full 12 ,he,ll no be winning .

I've been waiting on a valuev fight on a while, the crazy mofo.

RUSSIAN giant Nikolai Valuev has dismissed challenger David Haye as an idiot who cannot be taken seriously.

Londoner Haye challenges the 7ft 2in, 23-stone WBA *heavyweight champion Valuev in Nuremberg on Saturday.


And, after repeatedly insulting Valuev, calling him “ugly, hairy and a freak”, it was Haye’s turn to be on the receiving end yesterday.


After goading Ukrainian brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko earlier this year with a T-shirt showing one of their heads severed, Haye has tried to wind up the Russian by mocking his size and personal hygiene.


Valuev, 36, declared: “In all honesty, I just cannot take him seriously. He can say what he wants about me – I’ll do my talking in the ring.


“I am in perfect shape. Let’s see what Haye has to say after our meeting in the ring – I doubt it will be much.”


Valuev has won 50 of his 51 contests and has all the physical advantages possible over 29-year-old Haye.


But Valuev knows that victory is not guaranteed and acknowledged that Haye will pose him plenty of problems.


He said: “He’s a very fast boxer and can give any of his opponents a problem or two. But I honestly think I will retain my title.


“Maybe he has been acting a lot. It is nothing special for me to fight him, because each opponent is smaller than me.


“They do not always fight in the same style as each other. It is the same with David Haye who says that he is really ‘up’ for this one.


“He will be different to the others I have met.


“I do not expect something special, just something different.


“People have criticised me, saying I am just a big, big fighter.


“But I think my record shows that such criticism is incorrect.”


Kalle Sauerland, one of Valuev’s Berlin-based *promoters, admits that his man-mountain of a fighter has his critics.


But he said: “Niko is never going to be a Muhammad Ali but he has a 50-1 record and you can say what you want about him but he has beaten some very good heavyweights.


“Whatever has been put in front of him, he’s been able to beat, even though there have been some tight decisions along the way.


“When he was a younger fighter, his style was appalling.


“But now he is vastly different and uses all of his physical attributes in the best way possible.”

I've never seen Valuev fight, but look at the size of the fucker, hes fucking mahoosive !!!!

It'll take something special from Haye to even hit him on the face never mind hard enough to knock him down. This will be an interesting one methinks, fair looking forward to it as well, small carry out and me and the wee man will watch it. For a 5 year old hes got a bit of a fascination with people getting sconed !!!!!

Hope haye gets the sh*t knocked outa him, never liked him as a person & the times when I have seen him box looked nothing special.

Haye is a disrespectful little man - but he is talented. However, cant see him winning this one

Any one know what time the fights at. Box office 9 or 9.30 sat night but what time will the haye fight be at

not sure what time the fight actually starts, should be at least one fight on the undercard i'd have thought.

Sports Bar on Sauchiehall St. would be a good bet, but you'll probably get somewhere a bit closer than that.
