Seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher will return to Formula One with Mercedes GP next season.
The F1 legend has signed a three-year deal to drive for the German manufacturer in 2010, with the contract said to be initially worth around £6.2million.
Schumacher, who turns 41 on January 3rd and who will therefore easily be the oldest driver on the grid, will partner fellow German Nico Rosberg.

One mans Terrorist is another mans Freedom Fighter!
Love him, but wanted to see him back at Ferrari, must be the greatest driver of all time.
I liked him at Renault, before he became the legend at Ferrari... which sparked many (Man United-esque) people to start ‘supporting’ him.
“If he wants to learn about scoring goals, he should nip over to watch us train at Lennoxtown some afternoon and I'll show him a thing or two about finishing”
Fantastic news.
Like RK, I would have preffered to see him get a drive with Ferrari but he will get a good car with Mercedes and also the chance to team up with Brawn again.
It is going to be such an exciting season with so many permutations: Hamilton and Button at McLaren, Alonso and Massa at Ferrari and Schuey back in the fold again. I'm tipping Alonso. To my mind, he is the best on the grid and with a competitive car again - he should run away with it.
