Thread: Anybody here play badminton?

I've been invited to play this on Wednesdays - I've been looking for more activities up here through the week. Is it any good? Is it difficult to play? Anybody here play it? :confused:

Younger brother should be playing for the county as well if he sticks in.

Badmington is only fun on the beach but the minute sand goes in your eyes after doing one of those dramatic dives the funs over and the serious crying in pain begins, but at the end of the day it was all worth the pain

Used to play badminton in the school and was shit hot at it.

It's not as movement based at tennis but if you don't just hit lob shots and hit direct shots most people don't know how to deal with them and not much moving is involved.

if this was a gaa thread...it would be moved to 'other sports'.

however , this is badminton. good old badminton.

Yeah I never moved it not because I never realised it was in the wrong fora, but because I hate the irish. That's completely the reason.
