Anybody having a flutter?
There's a horse that was born and bred just a minute up the road from me goes by the name of the place it was born , ballyholland ( pronounced ballyHOLEand) giving odds of 42/1 ( 30/1 in some bookies) which ain't bad seen him training two weeks ago looks in fine form and was told by the trainer that if he wins he will give a lump sum to local charities
also think il put a lil money on tony McCoy aswel

Backing Niche Market, My Will and Joe Lively today!
The wife had picked last years winner, until I explained that it was 100-1 for the simple reason that it wouldn't win. So she picked another at shorter odds.
We're just sticking pins in the paper this year, and the family picks are:
Irish Raptor - Me
Can't Buy Time - Mrs
Made In taipan, Tricky Trickster and Mon Mome  - The kids
Stevie
I've backed
Palypso De Creek £5 EW
The Package £5 EW
Eric's Charm £5 EW
“If he wants to learn about scoring goals, he should nip over to watch us train at Lennoxtown some afternoon and I'll show him a thing or two about finishing”
Going on form the package looks a good bet
although I'm pretty sur any horse a Celtic fan backs is bound to fall at the first going on our luck today
Black Apalachi for me
Cheers Cash67
RTE doing a wee documentary thingy there on Ballyholland. That's the horse fitz was talking about. Looks in good shape hope he runs well.
They come from bonnie Scotland,
But they bow to Englands crown,
They really are a mixed up bunch,
They let their country down,
They're racists,thugs and bigots,
And we all know their name,
They're fans of Glasgow Rangers
And they're known as Scotlands Shame.
The wife and weans just had me run back down to the bookies there![]()
Got another bottle of tonic while I was at it though
Put 50p e/w on Ballyholland (for the wife), Snowy Morning (For my oldest boy) and State of Play (for my youngest)
