Bit like Mr Marty.
Wrestlemania 12, the last of the real greats imo.

I guess I dont' like Hogan because I didnt grow up with him, I just think the thing he does where he looks like hes having a fit and then beats the guy is just lame. Dont really like his mic skills either, YOU KNOW SOMETHING BROTHER!
I did find this funny though

Fair enough Mick. I’ll be the first to admit in terms of technical ability Hogan was pretty limited, in fact, I’d go as far to say he was terrible. Bret Hart is the best Wrestler (in terms of ability) I’ve ever seen.
But you have to appreciate what Hogan did for the sport. Hate this cliché, but Hogan really did put Wrestling on the map.
Anyway, for me, Wrestling peaked between 97-98 (I enjoyed Wrestling prior to this era as well BTW) because the WWF and the WCW were engaged in a ratings battle known as the Monday Night Wars…
Hogan left the WWF in 93, having made the business what is today. Went to WCW, but by then realised that the whole, ‘say your prayers, eat your vitamins’ all American hero type thing had worn thin. Came up with the idea of turning Hulk Hogan into a villain and went with the anti hero angle. This was genius. Worked brilliantly with the NWO.
WCW was actually better than the WWF during the days of the NWO and this pretty much inspired the WWF to go the same route as WCW by portraying the bad guys as crowd favourites, hence the attitude era.
Problem was, WCW was managed by a bunch of amateur clowns and eventually went down the shitter. Think it was 1999?
When WCW went down the shitter, the WWF/E became complacent and started to regurgitate the most boring, predictable and repetitive storylines.
I watched it briefly when Hogan came back to the WWF. But it really has been dismal this past decade.
