Inter Milan are interested in Celtic striker Morten Rasmussen.

The young Denmark international is a loan target for Inter chief Marco Branca, who sees him as a replacement for new Manchester City signing Mario Balotelli.

Inter took Marko Arnautovic last season on-loan from FC Twente and want to set up a similar deal with Celtic for Rasmussen.

Celtic, if they're to agree the option, will seek a set price from Inter to make the deal permanent - likely in January.
