I still love how you add stokes in to the same sentence as Keane, or even Santa Cruz.
Personally I'd rather not have any loan dealings, I want our team, or else come jan/may we need to find these sort of guys, again.
Hildebrand would be my choice in keeper, although I wouldn't be too disheartened to take Given on loan for the entire year. As I say, the worry is who do we get next summer?
As for strikers, if we can sign keane full time, done! If not, we need to look else where, wouldn't take a loan dealing of santa cruz, and wouldnt go near stokes. Stokes is alright, but not overly better than what we already have, we need to drastically improve the front line, not just add average.
Good cop and bad cop have left for the day :
i'm a different kind of cop !
Vic Mackey
The Shield 2003
I think if given a full run, Rasmussen can do the same, why spend money(inflated by hibs no doubt knowing them) on something we already have, buy better.
Stokes is good, granted, won't disagree, but I don't think he is anywhere near the level of Keane, and thats the sort of star player we need for any sort of european run.
tbh I,m still waiting on this blue chip signing,we have sold McGeady ,have the cash in the bank to spend and have about £8 mill left so shove yer loan deals up yer arse and get out there and bring us in some proven quality
am i right in saying the number 7 shirt is yet to be assigned ?
Correct!
Last been said by celtic in relation to it, is waitin to bring in that big game player to fill the shirt.
I just hope we go for it.
BTW, I like stokes, playin him alongside a Keane/Bellamy would be ideal. But not when we only need one more striker and we have a bunch in the team already, would rather see the money spent on the big striker now than split twice over two.
Kilgallon is shite.
