Celtic set to sign Spanish international
A deal has been reached between Celtic and Deportivo La Coruna for goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish publication La Opinion A Coruna believe that Celtic have agreed a fee in the region of £4million with Deportivo for Aranzubia.

The 30-year-old signed for Deportivo in 2008 from Athletic Bilbao, and was instrumental in their top half finish last season, playing in all but one match.

Aranzubia has represented Spain at U-20, U-21 and U-23 levels, and earned a full international cap in 2004 against Andorra.

Celtic have been linked with several goalkeepers since the sale of Artur Boruc to Fiorentina, including Shay Given, Kieren Westwood, Jacobo, Julian Speroni and Timo Hildebrand.

Was Spain's third choice 'keeper for Euro 2004, made a sub appearance because Casillas and Canizares got injured during a friendly.

Brilliant this guy loks the real deal. Experienced pro but still a good age for a keeper, we;d be getting him in his prime.

    Get it done!!
