Derry City forward Patrick McEleney is attracting interest from two English Premier League clubs, as well as Scottish Premier League giants Celtic.
The 17-year-old, who has already had a spell with Sunderland, is again the subject of attention from the Stadium of Light club.
He is also the subject of an inquiry from another top flight outfit.
With the transfer window closing at the end of August, any imminent move appears unlikely.
It is believed the Brandywell club want to keep hold of the player until the end of the current League of Ireland First Division campaign.
City are currently seven points clear at the top of the table.
