http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...885198,00.htmlWidespread reports are suggesting Celtic are to continue to clear their ranks with Danny Fox and Stephen McManus looking to be on their way out of Glasgow.
Full-back Fox appears to be heading back to England with Burnley, while Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan is to raid Parkhead for a fourth time in the January transfer window to land McManus.
Scotland international Fox's short spell in Glasgow will end if the clubs agree a fee and the 23-year-old thrashes out personal terms with new Clarets boss Brian Laws.
Fox was signed from Coventry for an undisclosed sum on a four-and-a-half-year deal in July and made his debut in the 5-0 Wembley Cup win over Egyptian champions Al-Ahly. He has played 23 times this season under Celtic boss Tony Mowbray and in November made his Scotland debut in the 3-0 friendly defeat by Wales in Cardiff.
The departure of Fox would signal yet another change to the Hoops' squad which has already lost Gary Caldwell to Wigan and Willo Flood, Chris Killen, and Barry Robson to Middlesbrough.
Strachan is eager to be reunited with McManus, a player he rates highly having installed him as captain during his tenure as Celtic boss.
Boro are beset with injury problems and Strachan is determined to bolster his ranks before the close of the January window.
"Celtic is important to me in as much as it's one of the only constants in my life over the years. I have changed and become various things but it is the one constant. Religion, friendships have come and gone, likes and dislikes have come and gone, but Celtic has remained." - Billy Connolly
zinedine kilbane wud be a great signing
mcmanus-we will not miss
fox-has been disappointing unfortunately
even if fox hasn't played that well, imo we can't afford to lost any more defenders. we need backup and not just a solid back four because if one gets injured we will be stuck with a diddy.
"Celtic, like Barcelona, are more than a football club. Our clubs are a symbol of a culture and community that has not always been made welcome in their respective countries."
Xavi
"When you pull on that jersey you're not just playing for a football club, you're playing for a people and a cause"
God Bless Mr Celtic
He was bought to solve our left back problem, now he is getting sold. Hence we still have a problem at left back, not bothered if he goes but we need a left back before the window shuts.
So confusing this
Strange one indeed , he could be the possible 'mole' ?
I meant the recent stories about Brown lol
Was I wrong about him? Am I wrong about McGeady? I think you'll find I call things as I see them and I'm one of the minority on here who can criticize my favourite players when they're not pulling their weight.
I have no agenda and never will. I'll always give my true feeling to which individual player brings to Celtic.
Anyway, enough of the Jeremy Kyle talk and back to celebrating Caddis' great performance at LB![]()
No way!! The mole was around when McGeady v WGS happened. My moneys on McDonald leaking stories to Keith Jackson or at least his agent anyway. It became clear to me when the Record were back paging how Skippy loved Celtic so much and didn't want to leave recently. No other player could demand such a thing from a hun rag.
I fucking loved Alan Thompson for starters so that proves you are wrong. There are arguments for the other two being Scots, so what are you on about?
McCourt is my current favourite player because he is a class act, not because he's Scottish. And don't tell me McGeady can do what Paddy does.
I give reasons for every player that I'm not feeling good about.
