If it came down to Brown or McGeady, I'd sell Brown. i'd prefer to sell both of them though, how much would we get I wonder? 15M?

I hate to say it but our best chance of getting some decent money in is McGeady. Boruc i don't think would command as much money as he would have 2 or 3 years ago, but saying that if he WANTED a move then i wouldn't begrudge him it. Prefer to keep him tho obviously.

As for McGeady and Brown? Believe it or not i'd rather keep Brown and i'll tell you why. The longer this season has went on the more it's sunk into me that this country is all about the physical game. Mawbray coming up here and trying to play silky football is THE MAIN REASON for us being so far behing in the league. It just doesn't work when every other team you play against, including the huns, just set up rigid formations against you and go in wae the boot.

Now don't get me wrong McGeady is by far and away the best player in the country, and also my favourite player of the current lot, and i still think he gets nowhere near the credit he deserves in terms of his crossing, his tracking back, his use of space etc, but i'd really like to see him somewhere else to see if he can progress further.

Brown on the other hand, playing as a defensive mid, is absolutely perfect for our league. He's done ok since coming back but there's a lot more to come i think. And he's without doubt the most passionate player we have, arguably with the exception of Boruc, and i think that's why he's been given the captaincy. If he can get back to top form he will be a brilliant captian for years to come imo.
