ARTUR BORUC is set to leave Celtic in the summer.
MailSport can reveal a decision has been made to try to move the Poland keeper on at the end of the season.
Boruc - the highest-paid player in the SPL on around £30,000 a week - is contracted until June 2011 but due to the general economic downturn and falling revenue at Parkhead, he will not be offered an extension.
Instead, he will be offloaded and Celtic hope to get a fee of around £3.5million which is preferable to losing him on a Bosman a year later. I understand Bundesliga giants Hamburg have declared an official interest in Boruc.
They want a new No.1 in the summer and will have cash to spend. Bayern Munich have been longtime admirers of Boruc and will also consider him in the summer.
Tony Mowbray has compiled a list of goalkeeping targets.
Some are in the bracket of a straight replacement for Boruc and others would be considered back-up should Lukasz Zaluska be given the nod as No.1.

A couple years ago we all wanted double figures, but he went through a bad patch, but of late he has brought his game back up to a consistant level...shame about the defence... and although isnt performing greatly in CL or for Poland, he is still worth a few million, more than what this mob suggest.

Zaluska is good enough to take charge between the sticks, Boruc's keeping has been questionable of late but still wouldn't like him to leave when he is on form he is unbeatable!

tbh i've got past the stage of caring.
Keane,Kamara,Hinkel,Boruc,McGeady,Maloney,and Brown can all leave tomorrow and it won't make a shred of a difference. Another page set up by a group calling themselves the "Killowen Young Republicans" promises to "protect the Republican communities from the PSNI, hoods and most of all loyalists." I'll genuinely burst into tears if Boruc is sold. I'm desperate for the guy to retire with us.
Best Celtic goalie of all time. Was fantastic today apart from their goal where he could've done a bit better.
