Thread: Rumour - Would you take Skippy back?

This is a follow on from another thread which mentions the fact that Murdo McLeod thinks we should try and get him back to CP.

Would you take him back, and if yes how much do you think we should/would pay for him?

Difficult one for me ,good wee goal scorer he was but also a great wee greeting face .Nah lets move on I say .

I'd really love to say aye i'd take him back, if he could get back to the form of the Strachan days he'd be a fucking great player for us, but all this business about him being pals way that keith jackson prick just puts me off the idea. There's no proof Skippy was leaking things to him that should have stayed in the dressing room, but it seems far to likely for comfort.

Another question is, do you think Lennon will try and bring him back?

Thats another thing all of his Jackson loving (which as you say was never proven ,but smoke plus fire and all that )

Also can you see Lenny putting up with his wee greetin face ,I can't .Plus Lenny has said he wants to put the fight back in the team ,hardly think he'd be in Lenny's plans for that

Don't know man, can anybody shed some light on what their relationship was like when they were playing together and when Lennon came in as coach when Strachan was there? I've never really heard anything to suggest they weren't on good terms and managers tend to bring in people they trust and have a good relationship with.

Nope, he's been shit at boro since leaving. He's regressed as a player and if we want to improve we should aim higher.

I would take him back tbh, He would score a good 10-20 goals a season if he could get back to his old form. plus we will sign a few more gems to help him out.
