Celtic interested in Signing Chris Eagles from Burnley according to the hun and evening times. Apparently he would cost £1.5million. I quite like him watched him a few times last season and he impressed me.

I like him but don't think we need him, skillful player but too slow to play as a winger and not as good as McCourt.

If this is the guy who wore a headband then i think he would be a very good signing. I was always impressed with him while he was playing at Burnley.
He played for Man U and i remember in a friendly with us in America he stuck a two foot reckless tackle on Alan Thompson who ironically would be Eagles first team coach if he signed.

Nah fuck this shit, we need a CB, a holding midfielder and a replacement for Sammy, this guy is none of the above. We should be looking at loaning players like Garay or Granero, players that won't get a game for their club but are hot prospects. Just examples. Europe is full of quality players sitting on benches and all we're doing is going up and down the M6. Clearly there is no money, the board are tight as fuck even if there was they wouldn't use it for players, God forbid. A quality loan signing wouldn't hurt.
